Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of a new frontend system that establishes a long-term foundation for scalable growth.
- Establish and promote organization-wide standards for frontend code, emphasizing maintainability, performance, testing, accessibility, and scalability.
- Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, design sessions, pair programming, and knowledge transfer across engineering teams.
- Work closely with design, product, domain specialists, and backend developers to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions and well-defined API interfaces.
- Advocate for and integrate emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies, including AI-powered development tools that improve speed without sacrificing quality.
- Define and uphold frontend standards covering component libraries, coding practices, development tooling, continuous integration, testing approaches, and performance limits.
- Diagnose and resolve complex architectural issues, influencing engineering-wide decisions through technical leadership.
- Lead multi-team technical initiatives to successful completion with measurable results and clear business impact.
- Promote a culture of frontend excellence through documentation, onboarding practices, continuous learning, and team rituals centered on quality and craftsmanship
