We are seeking a JavaScript Developer to join our international team at Paramo Technologies, a growing e-commerce company building products on its own technological platform. The developer will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, creating scalable frontend solutions using modern technologies and collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive UIs with React using NextJS and AstroJS
- Handle real-time data updates, fast user interactions, and complex states
- Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship features fast
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability
- Contribute to our shared component library and design system
- Develop and evolve design systems
- Follow modern high-quality development practices
- Be part of the on-call shift
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in modern frontend engineering, with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and advanced CSS architecture
- Proven track record designing and scaling high-performance, real-time web applications (e.g., trading platforms, betting systems, live dashboards)
- Architectural understanding of state management patterns, performance optimization, rendering strategies, and frontend scalability
- Experience building and maintaining WebSocket-driven systems and handling complex real-time data synchronization
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or Astro, including SSR, ISR, routing strategies, and performance tuning
- Experience designing, evolving, or contributing to a design system (component architecture, theming, accessibility, developer experience)
- Comfortable owning and improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment workflows
- Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, understanding how frontend applications integrate within containerized environments
- Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and influence frontend architecture across teams
- Flexible to work with departments in different time-zones
- B2 English level
Nice to Have
- Understanding of event-driven systems, live odds updates, or real-time event tracking is a plus
