KoBold Metals is looking for a Staff Product Security Engineer to define and drive the security strategy for our technology platform. You will be a foundational voice in ensuring our product architecture and development lifecycle are secure by design as we pioneer new methods in mineral exploration.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement the product security strategy and framework
- Lead threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and penetration testing
- Establish and evangelize secure development practices across engineering teams
- Build and automate security tooling and vulnerability management processes
- Respond to and investigate potential security incidents
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in product security, application security, or a related field
- Deep hands-on experience with threat modeling, secure code review, and penetration testing
- Proven ability to design security controls for cloud-native applications and data platforms
- Strong coding/scripting skills to build automation and tooling
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with and influence engineering teams
