We are seeking a Senior Platform Infrastructure Specialist in the United States. This role emphasizes developing and directing expansive, multi-cloud technological frameworks supporting AI-driven products serving millions of daily users. You will merge advanced technical knowledge with a strategic product perspective, conceptualizing infrastructure as an engineering platform. The dynamic environment enables architectural strategy influence, engineering mentorship, and delivering transformative solutions across diverse cloud ecosystems. Success demands translating organizational vision into platform capabilities, driving technically strategic decisions with enterprise-wide implications, and establishing engineering standards that elevate organizational performance. Accountabilities: · Design and progressively enhance multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to support AI workloads, optimizing scalability, cost-efficiency, reliability, and security. · Propel technical strategy and platform capability roadmaps, making architectural evaluations, assessing trade-offs, and building stakeholder consensus. · Spearhead intricate initiatives involving 4+ engineers across multiple quarters, managing implementation from conceptualization through delivery. · Collaborate with product engineering to anticipate infrastructure requirements and co-develop solutions enhancing engineering productivity. · Guide engineering talent, establish organizational best practices, and influence standards through architectural reviews and technical mentorship. · Construct foundational platform services including Kubernetes infrastructure, observability platforms, CI/CD systems, and distributed systems components. · Assess and integrate emerging technologies to support future organizational growth and technological advancement. Requirements: · 8+ years of platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in designing and managing production systems at scale. · Product development background or product-oriented infrastructure approach. · Advanced cloud architecture skills (AWS strongly preferred), including multi-region, highly available system design. · Demonstrated capacity to lead complex, ambiguous initiatives, define solutions, build consensus, and execute across extended timeframes. · Robust technical leadership and mentorship experience, including team management of 4+ engineers. · Systems thinking and architectural expertise balancing agility, cost, performance, and security. · Superior communication and stakeholder management capabilities, capable of influencing without direct organizational authority.
