We are seeking a proficient Enterprise Infrastructure Systems Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize the technological systems and applications supporting both internal operations and external clients. This role emphasizes ensuring high availability, robust security, and superior performance across enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, virtual machines, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative, remote setting, demonstrates exceptional technical problem-solving capabilities, and consistently evaluates and implements innovative solutions to enhance IT operations. You will be instrumental in automating processes, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and mentoring team members to improve operational efficiency and system reliability. Accountabilities · Configure, install, maintain, and monitor Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and virtual machines. · Diagnose and resolve tier 2 technical challenges, providing prompt and effective solutions. · Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate routine tasks and deployments. · Execute daily system health assessments and continuous monitoring of critical infrastructure components. · Manage and maintain Active Directory, including FSMO roles, group policies, and forests. · Enable cloud infrastructure initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. · Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to implement emerging technology solutions and upgrades. · Preserve documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides for efficient knowledge transfer. · Guarantee adherence to security protocols, HIPAA compliance, and ITIL change management principles. · Participate in off-hours rotations for system maintenance, upgrades, and support. Requirements · Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. · 3+ years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering or related IT support roles. · Comprehensive knowledge of server, networking, and hardware systems, including virtualization technologies. · Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for task automation. · Familiarity with DevOps tools and principles, including Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and GitHub. · Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; cloud certifications preferred. · Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM concepts, and security best practices, including HIPAA compliance. · Superior organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. · Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to evolving priorities in a remote environment. · Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are advantageous.
