The role involves leading network architecture and integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring systems are unified efficiently and securely while maintaining high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable network solutions for newly acquired organizations
- Lead integration of network infrastructure across multiple sites
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during acquisition transitions
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement secure and reliable connectivity solutions
- Manage firewall configurations and access controls
- Support cloud and on-premises network environments
- Document network topologies and configurations
- Evaluate existing network systems for compatibility
- Drive standardization of networking protocols
- Optimize bandwidth utilization across distributed locations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
- Develop disaster recovery and redundancy plans
Nice to Have
- Experience in defense or government contracting environments
- Background in M&A technical integration
- Knowledge of zero-trust network architectures
