About the Role
This role involves delivering remote medical care to patients with hormonal imbalances, primarily focusing on men's health. The physician will conduct virtual visits, assess patient needs, interpret lab results, and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations using secure telehealth platforms
- Evaluate symptoms related to hormonal imbalances in male patients
- Review laboratory results and diagnostic data to inform clinical decisions
- Diagnose conditions associated with low testosterone and other hormone deficiencies
- Prescribe and manage hormone replacement therapies under established protocols
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and lab trends
- Educate patients on the benefits and risks of hormone therapy
- Document patient encounters in compliance with medical record standards
- Ensure adherence to state-specific telemedicine regulations
- Collaborate with support staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of endocrinology and men's health research
- Address patient questions about lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness
- Identify contraindications and potential complications of treatment
- Refer patients to specialists when conditions fall outside scope of practice
- Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
- Respond to patient messages within defined timeframes
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes
- Support clinical protocol development and updates
- Contribute to patient safety initiatives and risk management
Compensation
