Nagarro is looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. In this role, you will analyze application workflows, ensure thorough test coverage, and collaborate closely with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Java.
- Analyze application workflows and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Perform debugging, log analysis, and issue troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve defects.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks for maintainability, scalability, and reusability.
What We're Looking For
- 7.5+ years of total professional experience.
- Expert-level skills in Appium, Selenium, Java, and Core Java.
- Strong expertise in Core Java concepts including OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
- Proven experience creating UI Automation frameworks from scratch.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code.
- Good understanding of application workflows, modules, and web services.
- Experience analyzing end-to-end system flows and integration points.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of automation frameworks, assertions, and reporting.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
