About the Role

Northern California Behavioral Health System is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk to support our mission. Reporting to the Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management, you will gather, analyze, and report data that monitors hospital-wide quality, performance, and risk. You will also serve as the Patient Ambassador for handling patient feedback.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure timely collection, formatting, and reporting of data.
  • Review policies and procedures for compliance with The Joint Commission, CDPH, and CMS.
  • Analyze, track, trend, and interpret data to identify issues or potential risk areas.
  • Develop written narrative and statistical reports.
  • Keep your supervisor informed of all regular communications and reports.
  • Uphold the organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, or obtained within the initial orientation period.
  • Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Sensitivity and willingness to interact with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative work, leadership, influence, and motivating others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
  • Major in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Public Administration.
  • Behavioral Health and/or Hospital background.
  • General knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.

Technical Stack

  • Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management.
