Northern California Behavioral Health System is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk to support our mission. Reporting to the Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management, you will gather, analyze, and report data that monitors hospital-wide quality, performance, and risk. You will also serve as the Patient Ambassador for handling patient feedback.
What You'll Do
- Ensure timely collection, formatting, and reporting of data.
- Review policies and procedures for compliance with The Joint Commission, CDPH, and CMS.
- Analyze, track, trend, and interpret data to identify issues or potential risk areas.
- Develop written narrative and statistical reports.
- Keep your supervisor informed of all regular communications and reports.
- Uphold the organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, or obtained within the initial orientation period.
- Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Sensitivity and willingness to interact with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaborative work, leadership, influence, and motivating others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
- Major in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Public Administration.
- Behavioral Health and/or Hospital background.
- General knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.

- Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

You will report directly to the Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management.
