Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Staff Engineer for its Prisma Access Network Security (NetSec) team in Pune. You will be responsible for the design, development, and ownership of core platform components that secure and scale our global network infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable software for the Prisma Access platform
- Solve complex networking and security challenges at a global scale
- Own the full software lifecycle from architecture and design through implementation and deployment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive technical projects and initiatives to completion
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to other engineers on the team
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as a Staff Engineer or similar senior-level role
- Deep expertise in systems programming, networking protocols, and distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Go for building high-performance services
- Experience with large-scale, cloud-native software architectures and security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex, multi-threaded systems
