Runlayer is seeking a Staff Engineer to architect and implement robust, scalable systems that underpin our platform and customer solutions. You will tackle unique integration, data transformation, and workflow challenges using a combination of traditional coding and AI technologies, working directly with stakeholders including enterprise customers.

- Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate on new features and product ideas based on feedback and real-world usage.
- Mentor and collaborate with other engineers, setting exemplary standards for code quality, technical design, and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering best practices and core platform capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive software engineering experience (typically 7+ years), including system architecture, design, and hands-on development with modern languages.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions in customer-facing, high-impact environments.
- Deep experience building, integrating, and deploying APIs, as well as familiarity with databases and enterprise systems.
- Proven track record working with or building systems involving AI/ML technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills—you can connect technical and business domains seamlessly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment, balancing rapid delivery with technical excellence.
