Responsibilities

- Optimize system performance and ensure scalability under high load
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define API contracts
- Lead technical design and code reviews to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
- Drive best practices in software engineering across the team
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term system health
- Work on data modeling and database optimization strategies
- Ensure systems are secure, observable, and maintainable
- Support deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for potential adoption
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and error tracking systems
- Maintain documentation for services and system behavior
