Seeq is looking for a Sr. Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process, helping prospective customers understand the value of our advanced analytics software. You will work closely with sales teams and prospects to conduct discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, address technical questions, and provide expert insights into solving real-world problems in process manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that communicate the value of Seeq's solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with account executives to understand prospective customers' business needs and align Seeq's capabilities to their goals.
- Provide technical guidance during all phases of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Consulting team to develop and refine demo assets, reusable content, and best practices.
- Offer input to product management and engineering based on customer feedback to help shape the evolution of Seeq's software.
- Stay current with industry trends, customer use cases, and competitors to effectively position Seeq.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting solutions, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Assist cross-functional teams in developing industry-specific value propositions or solution accelerators using Seeq.
- Represent Seeq at events, webinars, and conferences.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, data science).
- 2-4 years of experience in a power industry technical role or selling B2B in the power industry (DISCO, TRANSCO, GENCO, or other).
- Strong understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and/or industrial operations and process data.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to varied audiences, including executives, directors, engineers, and operators.
- Experience conducting software demos and technical consultations with prospective customers.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel (varies from 10% to 25%) for partner meetings, customer meetings, team events, or conferences.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally within a SaaS or industrial software company.
- Experience in process manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
