Workday is looking for a Senior Solution Consultant - HCM to act as a strategic partner to the sales organization, building a compelling vision of our Human Capital Management solution within the Financial Services Industry.
What You'll Do
- Orchestrate the end-to-end technical sales cycle for Net New and Customer Base accounts, including deep-dive discovery, tailored demonstrations, and strategic vision workshops.
- Lead proactive 'Health Check' and optimization engagements to identify underutilized capabilities and secure long-term customer health.
- Deliver high-stakes presentations to CHROs and IT leadership, aligning Workday’s innovation roadmap with their strategic business needs.
- Serve as the 'Voice of the Financial Customer' to influence the future of Workday’s industry-specific offerings.
- Participate in various projects and cross-functional teams to drive increased revenue and sustainable customer outcomes.
- Support proactive engagements to accelerate product adoption and optimization to improve customer health and enable growth.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of deep Human Capital Management expertise in areas like Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Learning, and Payroll.
- Experience in a pre-sales, implementation, or strategic consulting role within cloud-based HCM ecosystems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
- Ability to command a room at the C-Suite level and influence complex decision-making processes.
- Expert-level discovery skills to translate technical requirements into a compelling vision for digital transformation.
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, high-stakes environments and can manage multiple concurrent projects with precision.
- Comfort with high-velocity change, leaning into it as a growth opportunity with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A willingness to generate unique ideas, innovate, and take calculated risks to improve the work.

- Experience navigating the complexities of the Banking, Insurance, or Fintech sectors.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $126,000 USD - $189,000 USD + equity via annual refresh stock grants.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. Locations are in the NYC Metropolitan area and the broader Northeastern US.
