Role Overview
A seasoned Site Reliability Engineer is sought to help build and maintain a robust, scalable infrastructure platform supporting a decentralized ecosystem for digital creators. This position bridges software engineering and systems operations, focusing on designing reliable, efficient systems that empower developers and ensure seamless platform performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy software solutions that improve system uptime, responsiveness, scalability, and resource efficiency
- Contribute technical vision and long-term strategy for infrastructure architecture and platform evolution
- Manage and enhance core services such as indexers, APIs, data processing pipelines, and blockchain-integrated components
- Automate operational workflows including deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of services
- Support production systems through on-call duties, responding to incidents and leading resolution efforts
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should bring a strong background in platform and infrastructure engineering with a software-first mindset. The ideal profile includes:
- At least five years of hands-on experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in Go and Python, with experience using asyncio for asynchronous programming
- Deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Operational knowledge of distributed storage solutions like Ceph
- Experience with serverless frontend platforms including Vercel and Cloudflare Pages Functions
- Working knowledge of Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks such as Polygon, Optimism, and Base
- Understanding of Layer 2 scaling technologies including optimistic rollups, zk-rollups, Plasma, sidechains, and cross-chain bridges
- Experience operating blockchain infrastructure components like RPC nodes and IPFS
- Strong database expertise with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across system layers, from runtime environments to orchestration platforms
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry for monitoring and diagnostics
- Ability to break down complex technical challenges and collaborate effectively across engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- A genuine interest in emerging technologies and decentralized systems
