As a Senior DevOps / DevEx Engineer, you will play a central role in building and evolving the internal development platform that powers engineering productivity. Your focus will be on creating robust tooling, automation, and self-service systems that allow teams to deploy code quickly, reliably, and with confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and services that streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows
- Advance infrastructure-as-code practices using Pulumi and cloud technologies to improve system reliability and scalability
- Elevate existing internal platforms by identifying inefficiencies and implementing impactful improvements within the first month
- Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tools across engineering, ensuring safe, secure, and effective integration
- Collaborate with engineers to understand challenges and shape the roadmap for developer experience and platform capabilities
- Take ownership of critical initiatives, from scoping to delivery, within the first six months
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and cross-team planning to ensure alignment and quality
- Become the internal authority on platform services, access controls, release systems, and canary deployments within a year
- Support on-call responsibilities and contribute to system resilience and incident response
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering with a strong software development background
- Proven ability to identify gaps and independently drive solutions from concept to production
- Experience building reusable frameworks, abstractions, and automation for development teams
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong Python skills and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Curiosity about AI and its impact on software development, with a desire to guide its responsible use
- A mindset of continuous iteration—comfortable shipping fast, testing changes, and refining based on feedback
