Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Project Manager to manage interdisciplinary clinical research studies, ensuring compliance and acting as the primary liaison between the company and customer. You will be accountable for the financial performance, timeline, and quality of your assigned projects.
What You'll Do
- Manage interdisciplinary clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with GCP, relevant SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between Syneos Health and the customer to ensure timely study launch, conduct, and closeout.
- Lead the project team to ensure quality, timelines, and budget management.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables of all study conduct partners, proactively identifying and managing issues.
- Account for all project deliverables and the financial performance of each project.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of the Trial Master File (TMF) for assigned projects.
- Maintain study information on a variety of databases and systems.
- Oversee development and implementation of project plans and develop contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
- Plan, coordinate, and present at internal and external meetings, preparing project management reports for clients and management.
- Develop strong relationships with current clients to generate new business.
- May participate in bid defense meetings and may be required to line manage other project management and clinical monitoring staff.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience as a Project Manager in a CRO environment is required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and work independently.
- Direct therapeutic area expertise.
- Ability to embrace new technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).
Nice to Have
- Clinical research organization (CRO) and relevant therapeutic experience.
- Prior experience in Phase IV clinical studies.
