Ingrammicro is looking for a Sr. Principal Product Designer to partner with engineering, product management, and business leaders. You will deliver high-quality designs that meet customer needs, ensure platform consistency, and drive positive business outcomes in a complex domain.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership and define an entire category of experiences.
- Present and defend your solutions in front of executives.
- Interview high-profile customers and end users to identify critical business drivers and needs.
- Lead end-to-end feature design and create user experiences that delight customers.
- Champion user-focused strategic direction with cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Rapidly visualize, prototype, explore multiple product directions, and validate hypotheses.
- Apply your deep understanding of UX best practices to drive innovation in your products.
- Coach and mentor other designers on the team and provide creative direction.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, and Marketing to deliver a cohesive cross-channel experience.
- Contribute to building out practices and culture across the design organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 10+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
- Proven ability to translate business and user problems into understandable solutions.
- Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design skills, trends, and disciplines with high attention to detail.
- Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma and ability to work across multiple levels of fidelity.
- Experience working with Agile and/or Lean UX environments.
- Strong business acumen with well-rounded presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong portfolio displaying design work showing how you were able to get clarity where there was ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on complex, B2B SaaS products.
- Experience designing with and for AI tools.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role open to candidates based near our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California, as well as in Seattle, WA, and the Bay Area.
