Ollion seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join a dedicated team of architects and engineers tasked with rethinking NBC’s global edge and campus network infrastructure. You will define and implement NBCUniversal’s NextGen Network according to standard and best practices, working closely with partners to gather requirements and derive solutions.

What You'll Do

Define and implement NBCUniversal’s NextGen Network according to standard and best practices.
Work closely with partners and stakeholders to gather requirements and derive possible solutions.
Serve as a technical resource, providing guidance and advice to other Operations & Technology teams.
Participate in on-call support escalation rotation for 24x7 production on-air network infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in enterprise implementing, maintaining, and supporting network firewalls, remote access solutions, load balancers, routers, and switches.
3+ years of experience leading network initiatives, identifying, deriving and documenting network and network security requirements.
Experience with high-availability network and network security designs and associated protocols; Dual-ISP, first-hop redundancy, geo-diverse failover, cloud regionality/availability zones.
Advanced Routing and switching experience with BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN-VxLAN, MPLS.
Excellent systematic problem-solving approach, with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to articulate security objectives to a variety of audiences.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Nice to Have

Cisco and/or Arista Networks experience
Palo Alto Networks PCNSE/PCCSE or equivalent experience
Understanding of network security and cloud security concepts and best practices
