Workday is looking for a Senior Marketing Automation Manager to evolve our core marketing technology foundation. In this role, you will be the primary architect for our Marketo instance, blueprinting integrations for acquisitions and building the data foundation for AI orchestration. You'll blend strategic systems design with hands-on execution and team enablement.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, optimize, and scale our core Marketo instance and foundational marketing automation infrastructure.
- Own the creation, maintenance, and delivery of clear, comprehensive documentation for marketing operations processes and platforms.
- Blueprint and map M&A integrations, acting as the technical guide for unifying new business units and creating data mapping and system consolidation plans.
- Help build the foundation for AI orchestration by identifying and implementing AI-driven features that improve automation efficiency and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, and MarTech to ensure systems integration and support real business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to marketing automation and lead management to ensure accurate campaign execution and tracking.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains in marketing operations.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in Marketing Automation or Operations, with a background in managing enterprise-scale Marketo instances.
- Deep knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce, with an understanding of how system architecture creates real business impact.
- Experience mapping data schemas and migrating systems during company acquisitions.
- A passion for AI in MarTech and an interest in implementing AI functionalities to drive efficiency.
- Ability to translate technical 'puzzles' into simple, actionable guides for teammates.
- High attention to detail and a passion for building solutions that are 'built to last.'
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have
- Background in managing marketing tech stacks within a complex or global organization.
- Familiarity with lead scoring and routing models.
- Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B, Adobe Real-Time CDP, and other Adobe marketing technologies.
- Project management experience or certification.
