Mysten Labs is looking for a Sr. Executive Assistant to support our Head of Engineering. This operational role blends execution with context, helping coordinate logistics, manage vendors, track budgets, and tackle high-leverage tasks. You'll join a team building decentralized and open protocols as the bedrock of the internet of value.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute 3+ engineering offsites per year across Engineering, Product, Research, and Partnering teams, coordinating venue selection, travel, catering, and social events.
- Act as the point of contact for vendor onboarding, billing, price negotiation, and coordination with Finance Ops, maintaining accuracy across dozens of relationships.
- Track infrastructure and tooling expenses, prepare spend reports, and collaborate with Finance Ops and engineering leads on forecasting and budgeting.
- Handle high-value administrative tasks such as scheduling candidate calls, coordinating with partner teams, and gathering context for product or vendor discussions.
- Learn team structures, projects, and priorities over time to help organize the time of engineering leads more effectively.

- Comfortable navigating technical environments and picking up new terminology quickly.
- Communicates clearly and transparently.
- Curious, pragmatic, and confident negotiating with vendors or following up across teams.

- Prior experience supporting executives or operations within a fast-moving tech company.
