About the Role

Unframe is hiring a Senior Director, PMO to lead our Project Management Office and ensure the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of customer projects. You will build a scalable structure to manage projects across technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Cloud while driving financial oversight and customer-centric execution.

What You'll Do

  • Build a scalable PMO structure that can handle increased project volume and various project sizes and complexity as the organization grows.
  • Develop, implement and manage backlog decomposition, and project acceleration strategies to optimize resource allocation, and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, program managers, and other PMO professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer success.
  • Conduct regular customer project reviews and meetings to provide transparency into project progress, risks, and achievements.
  • Ensure customer projects are planned, and executed to meet contractual obligations, timelines, and financial targets.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, pre-sales engineering, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless handoffs from solution scoping to project execution.
  • Oversee project financials, ensuring accurate forecasting, budget tracking, and margin management across the project portfolio.
  • Work with Finance and Operations to ensure that project billing, revenue recognition, and profitability are aligned with company targets.
  • Ensure Project Management compliance with Financial and Operational Standards.
  • Ensure PMO is properly load balanced and the collective PM utilization target is achieved.
  • Develop Project Management delivery methodology creating a standard of work around project planning, scheduling, status reporting, risk management and other standard practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 10+ years project management experience with 5+ years being in a PMO leadership role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required.
  • Proven experience in building and leading a large and complex PMO in a Matrixed Organization.
  • Expert in project scheduling and revenue recognition acceleration practices.
  • Experience with Project management tools and automation such as Smartsheet.
  • Proven experience in a professional services organization at a technology integrator or services provider.
  • Expert in project management methodologies – Agile, waterfall, and scrum.
  • Experience leading, managing and inspiring a team of Project Managers of all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner both internally and externally.
  • Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills with an ability to work in customer-facing environments, as well as present issues to C-Level Executives and senior leadership.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
