Gartner, Inc. is hiring a Senior Director Analyst to serve as an industry thought leader within our Business and Technology Insights group, focusing on Data & Analytics. You will create must-have client insights and lead a body of research on Data & Analytics Governance, its maturity, and its critical intersections with AI, Cybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance.
What You'll Do
- Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged 'must-have insights' content.
- Develop new insights through thought leadership to address client needs and reframe strategic thinking.
- Research, analyze, and predict market trends to provide actionable insights to clients and vendors.
- Provide clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
- Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
- Support sales teams by serving as the voice of the market and driving client engagement.
- Provide high-quality and timely content peer review and mentor more junior team members.
- Actively participate in innovation and research discussions, collaborating with peers across global teams.
- Lead a body of research focused on Data & Analytics Governance, its maturity, AI's impact, and its intersection with Cybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience within D&A Leadership, D&A strategy development, or the CDAO role.
- Expertise in developing D&A delivery plans, including organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, and maturity levels.
- Strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with senior leaders.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; able to apply patterns and frameworks to client challenges.
- Strong communicator able to explain complex concepts concisely and present at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
- Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within Data & Analytics Governance.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multicultural global teams in a highly matrixed environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
