About the Role

Spartech, LLC is hiring a Sr. Customer Service Representative (REQ708) to serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of customer accounts. You will act as the face to the customer, providing value-added services that grow the business. This position requires handling multiple product lines and manufacturing facilities while working independently.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer-focused service to assigned accounts.
  • Respond to and manage customer orders from order entry through delivery and invoicing.
  • Communicate effectively over the phone and electronically.
  • Use a variety of systems to enter and complete transactions.
  • Understand customers' business operations and our products from a technical perspective.
  • Process incoming orders, confirm pricing and product availability.
  • Advise customers of order status and provide relevant information to other departments.
  • Timely and accurate administration of sales orders, customer complaints, material returns, and credits.
  • Answer price, availability, and literature requests.
  • Follow all applicable ISO procedures.
  • Use system reports to drive activities that ensure superior customer service.
  • Maintain customer service-related information for accounts.
  • Provide market or account intelligence gained through customer contact.
  • Participate in customer calls and visits with sellers.
  • Proactively communicate order changes to product supply and shipping.
  • Work with sellers and internal teams to reduce aged inventory.
  • May participate in or lead special projects or Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of Sales & Customer Service experience, including product knowledge, order management, customer service, and account management.
  • 10 years of experience in Customer Service.
