GE Aerospace is looking for a Sr Customer Operations Manager to partner directly with airline customers. Your mission will be to put the GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK operating model into practice at a commercial airline to drive a step change in engine availability, mitigate product maturity challenges, and strengthen relationships.
What You'll Do
- Champion lean culture by coaching, driving, and leading lean behaviors, principles, and practices to build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead improvement projects by coaching and leading process improvement initiatives aimed at improving business performance, reducing employee burden, and delivering exceptional customer impact.
- Own regional project execution by leading and owning the execution of prioritized projects across Asia Pacific, South Asia, and Greater China, influencing both customer and GE/CFM teams to deliver measurable, quantified improvements in aircraft availability.
- Strengthen customer relationships by building strong partnerships and supporting customers in developing a sustainable improvement system.
- Establish governance by following and updating a repeatable governance and project management framework for customer Kaizen events and keeping leadership aligned and informed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders by working seamlessly with key partners, including Safran, product line teams, and regional leaders, to deliver a differentiated customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in engineering or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Lean Transformation, Principles & Tools, preferably in a transactional environment.
- Proven experience in teaching, coaching, practicing, and applying lean methods.
- Demonstrated bias for action with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Problem solver with an analytical mind, a willingness to challenge existing processes, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Humble, transparent, and focused personal attributes.
- Leadership ability as a strong communicator, decision-maker, and collaborator.
