Fandom is hiring a Sr Analyst, Revenue Analytics

About the Role

Fandom is looking for a Senior Revenue Analytics Analyst to improve how our advertising inventory is measured, analyzed, and monetized. In this role, you'll use predictive analysis and reporting to support business goals and drive global advertising revenue as part of our Revenue Strategy & Planning team.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage analytical techniques and historical data to develop predictive demand and revenue models and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Simplify complex problems and large data sets to extract non-obvious insights.
  • Present complex analytical findings in clear business terms using data visualization.
  • Lead the development of scalable reporting tools for global stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Define data systems and tools with Engineering and Finance to produce revenue dashboards and BI reports.
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards, reports, and revenue models for Sales, Yield, and Executive teams.
  • Own and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly business reporting for Sales, Finance, and Executive management.
  • Support ad hoc revenue deep dives, inventory monetization analysis, and business case development.
  • Analyze trends in Programmatic revenue across SSPs and auction mechanics to find optimization opportunities.
  • Provide regional inventory and revenue analysis to guide monetization tactics across North America, EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
  • Evaluate key business drivers to measure pricing success and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Contribute to the overall development and implementation of our evolving revenue strategy.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to design and deliver robust reporting automation.
  • Maintain and partner with vendors.
  • Be personable, approachable, and able to connect with each person on the team and throughout the business.

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field like Finance, Mathematics, or Economics, or equivalent training.
  • 3+ years of experience in statistical analysis, business analysis, and/or strategy development.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL processes and API integrations.
  • Proven track record with advertising data, revenue analytics, and automated reporting workflows.
  • Expertise with data visualization, dashboarding, and query tools like SQL, Tableau, Lookr, Amazon Athena, Snowflake.
  • Experience with Database Management systems and coding (e.g., Vertica, MySQL, Oracle, Python).
  • Familiarity with back-end CRM, data platforms or ad inventory exchanges like Salesforce, Boostr, GAM.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Google Sheets.
  • A desire to work on advertising challenges that require flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with Programmatic Ad Spaces, pricing, revenue management, and/or forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively influence senior business partners.
  • Deep experience simplifying complex data sets and extracting non-obvious insights.
  • Strong project management skills and detail-orientation while working with numerous stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the digital ad space or experience in media, ad tech, or digital publishing.
  • Understanding of digital media monetization, header bidding, or ad quality strategies.
  • Experience with log-level data analysis of programmatic advertising data.
  • Experience working with Data engineering teams and/or with ETL processes.
  • R or Python is a strong plus.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a quantitative field, or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work a PST schedule.
