About the Role
This position involves supporting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to clients, with a focus on those who speak Spanish. The role includes preparing materials, documenting progress, and engaging in remote sessions.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed clinicians in conducting speech and language therapy sessions
- Communicate effectively with patients and families in both English and Spanish
- Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to individual client needs
- Document client progress and session notes accurately and timely
- Support assessment processes under the supervision of a licensed therapist
- Engage in remote therapy delivery using secure digital platforms
- Maintain consistent communication with supervising clinicians
- Follow established treatment plans and clinical protocols
- Track client attendance and participation in sessions
- Adapt resources for Spanish-speaking clients to ensure accessibility
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Uphold client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating therapy appointments
- Provide feedback to supervisors on client performance and engagement
- Support data collection for program evaluation and reporting
