CESAR, a centennial health institution with over 60 specialties and a genuine philanthropic commitment, is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you will focus on the assessment, prevention, and treatment of work-related communication disorders. You will evaluate workplace environments and develop individualized therapeutic plans as part of our mission to promote a more dignified and fulfilling life for a growing number of people.
What You'll Do
- Conduct precise assessments and diagnoses of occupational communication disorders, using appropriate tests and instruments to determine their causes.
- Guide patients on key occupational risks related to communication, such as excessive noise, toxic substances, and poor posture, including education on safe communication practices, vocal ergonomics, and hearing protection.
- Develop practices and programs for prevention, risk mitigation, and awareness regarding vocal, auditory, and language health.
- Identify employees who may need further evaluation, referring them to specialists when necessary.
- Create individualized or collective therapeutic plans for occupational communication disorders, using appropriate therapeutic techniques, including vocal and auditory counseling, alternative communication, and advice for adapting to job demands.
- Record and analyze clinical data to monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention and health promotion plans, adapting them as needed.
- Perform workplace analysis to identify potential factors that may trigger communication disorders, participating in the evaluation and improvement of corporate occupational health and ergonomics programs to ensure the effectiveness of preventive and treatment measures.
- Share knowledge in occupational speech-language pathology with the team, actively participating in team meetings and case discussions to provide comprehensive and integrated care to workers.
What We're Looking For
- Completed higher education in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in vocal health in the workplace.
- Experience performing audiometry exams.
