About the Role
This position involves driving product awareness and sales by engaging healthcare providers through educational detailing and relationship development. The representative will cover assigned territories, deliver product information, and support appropriate clinical use of medications.
Responsibilities
- Promote specialty pharmaceutical products to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Establish and maintain relationships with key medical decision-makers
- Deliver accurate and compliant product presentations
- Achieve sales targets within assigned territory
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to align field activities with marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product portfolio and therapeutic areas
- Submit timely call reports and activity summaries
- Participate in regional sales meetings and training sessions
- Identify new business opportunities within the territory
- Coordinate with medical affairs for scientific exchange when appropriate
- Respond to customer inquiries with accurate product information
- Track inventory and manage sample distribution
- Support product launches through targeted outreach
- Use CRM tools to document customer interactions
- Adapt messaging based on audience and specialty
- Follow up on customer feedback and concerns
- Represent the company at medical conferences and events
- Ensure adherence to ethical and compliance standards in all interactions
