PRACTICE is hiring a Spanish-Speaking Academic Tutor to provide bilingual English Language Arts and Math support to students in grades 6th through 8th. You will be part of a mission-driven team focused on closing the opportunity gap and ensuring every child has an equal chance to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Provide ELA & Math bilingual Spanish support to students in grades 6th through 8th.
- Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy, and exam preparation.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies.
- Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for learning and commitment to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students.
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
- Available to participate in monthly training.
- Collaborative spirit, ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors.
