Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is looking for a Sourcer & Talent Insights Specialist to execute sourcing strategies for critical Research & Development roles and lead the delivery of external talent insights and market intelligence projects. In this role, you will act as a true talent advisor to the business, leveraging talent intelligence tools and data analysis to deliver meaningful insights that inform talent strategy and enable future capability building.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and presentation of external talent insights to address business challenges, support recruitment planning, and inform talent strategy across R&D.
- Develop and present complex talent mapping projects, providing insight into external talent availability and opportunities for talent attraction.
- Provide strategic sourcing support on critical open roles, serving as a sourcing leader and insights expert to provide data-driven recommendations to business leaders, Recruiters, and Business HR.
- Set vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of proactive sourcing strategies across aligned functions in R&D.
- Partner with key stakeholders to build talent pipelines ahead of gaps or vacancies, developing strategies that target critical, high-level talent in competitive markets.
- Develop deep expertise in focus areas, understanding functions, culture, and role responsibilities to showcase AbbVie’s Employee Value Proposition.
- Proactively source passive candidates through advanced techniques including Boolean search on platforms like LinkedIn, SeekOut, and industry directories.
- Conduct thorough candidate prescreening and facilitate presentation to hiring managers using Talent Acquisition platforms to maintain data integrity.
- Nurture professional pipelines by keeping talent engaged and informed about available opportunities.
- Provide updates and reporting on critical roles and sourcing activities to stakeholders.
- Develop strong partnerships with Recruiters and candidates to build a qualified candidate bench for current and anticipated needs.
- Build trust with internal stakeholders including business leaders, Recruiters, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and Business HR.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years in a dedicated in-house sourcing role or retained search role.
- Strong track record in research methods and external talent landscape analysis.
- Experience creating and delivering complex talent mappings and external talent insights projects for leadership-level stakeholders.
- Ability to create and execute sourcing strategies for critical roles using available tools, platforms, and research techniques.
- Strong experience in successful screening, including initial contact, prescreening, and in-depth phone and face-to-face interviewing.
- Experience developing and executing proactive recruiting strategies, including confidential searches.
- Strong accountability and proactivity with a consistent track record of results.
- Proficiency in using a CRM to enhance sourcing and candidate management processes.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years in a dedicated in-house sourcing role or retained search role.
- Talent sourcing experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior experience sourcing for R&D roles or functions.
