Stay AI is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions team and help shape the foundation of our technical pre-sales motion. You will combine technical acumen, product expertise, and storytelling to craft solutions that fit each brand's unique retention goals.

What You'll Do

Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional pre-sales experiences from discovery to tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical deep dives.
Own technical validation, addressing complex questions around platform capabilities, APIs, and integrations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to advocate for customer needs and surface insights that inform roadmap priorities.
Create scalable assets like demo environments, technical documentation, solution guides, and integration blueprints.
Be a trusted advisor to both merchants and partners, helping them architect best-in-class subscription programs using Stay AI.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role at a SaaS company.
Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts in simple, compelling ways.
Thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and enjoy building things from scratch.
Strong mix of technical aptitude and sales empathy, understanding what drives buying decisions.
Resourceful, curious, and proactive.
Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills, both technical and business-oriented.

Nice to Have

Experience in ecommerce SaaS.
Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce tech stacks.
Experience with APIs, webhooks.
