About the Role
The role involves bridging business and technology by understanding client requirements in the insurance domain and designing robust, scalable system architectures. The individual will lead technical discussions, support product implementation, and ensure solutions align with industry standards and client goals.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical solutions for insurance clients based on business requirements
- Collaborate with sales and product teams during pre-sales engagements
- Translate insurance business processes into scalable software architectures
- Lead client workshops to gather and refine technical and functional needs
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations and system demonstrations
- Provide technical guidance during product integration and deployment
- Ensure architectural designs comply with security and regulatory standards
- Support the development team by clarifying system design decisions
- Evaluate new technologies for alignment with client use cases
- Document solution designs, data flows, and integration patterns
- Assist in defining API strategies and microservices architecture
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues during implementation
- Act as a technical liaison between clients and engineering teams
- Stay current with trends in insurtech and digital distribution platforms
- Contribute to reusable solution templates and best practices
- Participate in agile delivery cycles for custom projects
- Advocate for customer success throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Assess client environments for technical feasibility and risks
- Support RFP responses with technical architecture input
- Ensure solutions are maintainable, extensible, and performant
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline
- Insurance-specific certifications such as CPCU or LOIS
- Experience with core insurance platform implementations
- Background in digital transformation projects for insurers
- Knowledge of reinsurance workflows and calculations
- Familiarity with actuarial systems and data models
