At Broadcom, our Application Networking and Security Division is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team focused on the Americas Public Sector. You will own the strategy and execution for our Application Delivery and Load Balancing solutions, engaging in critical infrastructure and application modernization conversations to ensure optimal performance and availability for our customers.

What You'll Do

Map customer Application Delivery and Load Balancing business initiatives to our Application Networking solutions and strategy.
Present to customers and establish strategic relationships with Customer Executives and business unit leadership.
Provide expert technical pre-sales support for opportunities involving the Application Networking and Delivery portfolio.
Lead Proof of Concept exercises in customer labs to validate advanced Load Balancing and ADC solutions.
Lead technical pre-sales community discussions and facilitate knowledge dissemination to VMware and Partner Subject Matter Experts.
Document best practices and architectural references for developing and deploying the Application Delivery portfolio.
Work collaboratively with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Engineering during product development, launch, and refinement.
Maintain deep technical knowledge of Cloud solutions, industry directions, and trends, including peer and competitor products.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience in technology-related areas, including enterprise systems management and datacenter infrastructure architecture.
Demonstrated, expert-level technical knowledge in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting modern Layer 4/Layer 7 Load Balancing solutions and Application Delivery Controllers.
A working knowledge of the core VMware portfolio, particularly VCF and networking solutions.
Experience with IT automation, operations, and orchestration tools.
Willingness to travel as needed, though not likely to exceed 50%.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Being a team player is a must.
Ability to document and share learnings with others within the company.
Comfort working with Product Management and Engineering internally to improve our platform.
Be comfortable with change and view change as an opportunity to thrive.

Experience supporting large customers and/or teams practicing agile and continuous delivery.
