About the Role

Capgemini is hiring a Solution Validation Services engineer to join the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) team. You will be responsible for validating complex customer-specific networks and accelerating the adoption of new technologies and solutions. This role involves driving Cisco CX growth by designing next-generation solution validation labs and validating solutions for Data Center, Enterprise, and SP customers.

What You'll Do

  • Design next-generation solution validation labs.
  • Validate complex customer-specific networks and solutions for Data Center, Enterprise, and SP customers.
  • Help inform customers about trending network technologies.
  • Drive accelerated adoption of new technologies and solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Customer-facing experience with the ability to interface and interact successfully with customers.
  • Previous experience in complex network troubleshooting or TAC-style support.
  • 3-8 years of experience with Nexus platforms, with a focus on n9k.
  • Very good understanding and experience with L2 switching, L3 routing, and routing protocols, specifically OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
  • Understanding and experience with network and server virtualization.
  • Basic programming/scripting skill, preferably in Python.
  • Basic working knowledge in Yang models, configuration management, APIs, and operational models.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
