Shape solutions that meet real-world manufacturing challenges. As a Solution Consultant, you'll work at the intersection of sales and engineering, helping customers understand how software can address their specific needs around product costing and sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery conversations to uncover how manufacturers evaluate cost and environmental impact across processes like machining, casting, or assembly
- Translate complex requirements into clear solution concepts, including scope, value proposition, and technical approach
- Deliver targeted product demonstrations to both technical teams and business decision-makers
- Respond to functional and technical inquiries on topics such as data flows, costing logic, and system capabilities
- Support proposal development for RFPs and RFQs with precise assumptions and solution boundaries
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth transitions to implementation
- Collect market insights and relay feedback to help guide product evolution
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods such as forming, injection molding, or assembly processes
- Technical background—preferably in mechanical or manufacturing engineering—or equivalent field experience
- Ability to break down complex problems and communicate effectively across technical and business levels
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and software tools; experience with costing systems is beneficial
- Practical experience using and configuring software platforms
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10 trips per year, some international)
- Fluency in English
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in presales, consulting, or customer-facing engineering roles
- Basic programming skills
- German language proficiency
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid setup, averaging two days per week remotely. Based in Vienna, Austria, you’ll work within a diverse, international team where flat structures encourage initiative and innovation. You’ll have room to influence how presales processes evolve in a growing, product-focused organization.
