Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. (RBH), a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the architecture, governance guardrails, and secure adoption of our Microsoft 365 collaboration and content platform. You will be the key authority defining and maintaining platform guardrails in alignment with corporate-wide standards for content management, data protection, and identity policies.
What You'll Do
- Define, document, and continuously improve the platform’s reference architecture, design patterns, and decision frameworks for SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and integration points.
- Define and advise on SharePoint Online storage consumption patterns, archiving options, and technical constraints.
- Design and support technical patterns for SharePoint and Microsoft Teams site lifecycle management, including provisioning, ownership, archival, and decommissioning.
- Act as the architectural authority for SharePoint Online search capabilities, including permissions-aware discovery and integration.
- Collaborate with other architects to define and implement guardrails to enhance usability, security posture, data classification, and protection.
- Actively participate in all relevant Architecture decision bodies and communities.
- Validate major component changes, conduct proofs-of-concept and pilot projects, and support engineers and service integrators during deployment and critical incident resolution.
- Lead and guide AI adoption for M365 platform experiences, especially for content discovery, summarization, knowledge retrieval, and user productivity.
- Define 'AI-ready collaboration' guardrails focusing on permissions hygiene, content readiness, oversharing reduction, label strategy, and operational monitoring.
- Operate as a senior architecture leader embedded in agile product teams, ensuring solution designs align to platform guardrails and roadmap.
- Drive architectural review and change management, identify major component changes, validate demand fit to strategy, support PoCs/pilots, and ensure production readiness.
- Mentor engineers and product teams; remove architectural impediments; define testing/monitoring expectations and quality gates.
- Continuously track and assess technology changes across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, security & governance, and AI, translating new capabilities into actionable architectural guidance.
- Evaluate and incorporate innovations into the product roadmap by identifying major component changes and feeding opportunities into the demand funnel.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years working with Microsoft 365, with in-depth understanding of its content collaboration and productivity aspects.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in solution architecture.
- Technical Skills: SharePoint Online architecture; Microsoft Teams collaboration architecture; Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and authorization patterns; Microsoft Graph and integration patterns; Power Platform (Power Automate), governance of connectors and automation.
- Experience with enterprise-scale tenant governance, M&A collaboration onboarding, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness and governance, including service boundary considerations and dependency on tenant permissions.
- Copilot Studio fundamentals: connectors/tools to integrate agents with business systems; publishing agents to SharePoint/Teams channels.
- Very good communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts for both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management within technology teams and across business units and geographies.
- Experience working in agile product models and with tools like the Atlassian suite.
- Comfortable operating in highly regulated, complex, global enterprise environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LeanIX; exposure to and understanding of TOGAF principles.
- Experience and understanding of SAFe Agile framework; certification is a plus.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. You can be based in either Poland or Portugal.
