Solution Architect – Drive the evolution of enterprise collaboration through strategic architecture and governance of Microsoft 365 platforms. This role focuses on shaping secure, compliant, and future-ready digital workplaces centered on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive, while enabling seamless integration with AI-driven productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, design standards, and decision frameworks for Microsoft 365 collaboration services, ensuring alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
  • Define and manage storage strategies for SharePoint Online, including consumption models, archiving policies, and capacity forecasting to ensure predictable platform performance.
  • Design and implement lifecycle management patterns for Teams and SharePoint sites, covering provisioning, ownership, retention, and decommissioning in line with centralized governance.
  • Serve as technical authority on search architecture across SharePoint and Teams, ensuring secure, permissions-aware content discovery and consistent search behavior.
  • Enforce data governance principles by integrating document lifecycle policies, information architecture, and classification frameworks into platform design.
  • Collaborate with security and identity teams to strengthen access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, role-based administration, group-based permissions, and lifecycle access reviews.
  • Support integration strategies using Microsoft Graph and Power Platform, including governance of Power Automate flows and custom automation within regulated environments.
  • Lead architectural input into AI adoption for M365, focusing on content readiness, summarization, knowledge retrieval, and responsible agent deployment.
  • Establish guardrails for AI-enabled experiences such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ensuring content permissions, sensitivity labeling, and monitoring practices prevent inappropriate data exposure.
  • Embed within agile product teams to guide solution design, resolve technical debt, and ensure adherence to platform roadmaps and architectural standards.
  • Lead change validation, proof-of-concept initiatives, and pilot deployments, ensuring new capabilities meet operational, security, and business readiness criteria.
  • Provide mentorship to engineers and product teams, defining quality gates, testing protocols, and monitoring expectations for production deployments.
  • Monitor emerging trends in Microsoft 365, AI, and cloud governance, translating innovations into updated architectural guidance and platform enhancements.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture forums, influencing technology direction and incorporating new capabilities into the product demand pipeline through structured evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, particularly in collaboration and content platforms (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • 2–4 years in solution or enterprise architecture roles, with demonstrated impact on platform design and governance.
  • Deep technical knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and Microsoft Teams collaboration models.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, group-based access, role-based administration, and identity lifecycle governance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph and integration patterns across cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform governance, including connector management and automation controls.
  • Proven experience in large-scale tenant governance, M&A onboarding, and navigating complex, global stakeholder landscapes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, service boundaries, and permissions dependencies.
  • Understanding of Copilot Studio capabilities, including agent integration with business systems and publishing to Teams and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to engineers and simplify strategic vision for executives.
  • Experience in agile product environments and tools such as the Atlassian suite.
  • Comfort operating in highly regulated, international enterprises with strict compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LeanIX for enterprise architecture management.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft or enterprise architecture domains.

Offers a minimum of PLN 14,100 gross monthly salary in Poland and competitive local compensation in Portugal.
