About the Role
The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to validate systems that detect and prevent abusive behavior online. The analyst will collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and robust security measures.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans for Trust & Safety features
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Validate system changes against abuse prevention requirements
- Perform manual and automated testing as needed
- Ensure compliance with platform safety policies
- Analyze test results and report on quality metrics
- Work with product teams to understand feature specifications
- Conduct regression testing after system updates
- Support incident investigations related to platform abuse
- Evaluate risk signals and test detection logic
- Verify accuracy of content moderation tools
- Test integration points between safety systems and core platform
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging abuse tactics
- Contribute to test automation frameworks
- Review logs and system outputs for anomalies
- Assist in defining quality standards for new features
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives
- Ensure data privacy during testing processes
- Validate geolocation and user behavior analysis tools
Nice to Have
- Experience in trust, safety, or security domains
- Background in automated test scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of SQL or similar query languages
- Experience with browser developer tools
- Understanding of machine learning model behavior
- Exposure to large-scale data systems
- Previous work in high-velocity environments
