Grupo Bancolombia is looking for a Software Middleware Engineer to ensure high availability for the organization's application environments. You will manage middleware applications and coordinate technical activities, guaranteeing proper communication and integration between software solutions, driven by our passion for technology and market evolution.
What You'll Do
- Perform the complete lifecycle of middleware applications (analyze, design, code, test, deploy, and stabilize) using best software development practices.
- Implement, administer, and provide user support for middleware solutions.
- Install, configure, and keep middleware applications updated.
- Analyze necessary changes and provide recommendations for their implementation.
- Ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and best practices defined by the bank and industry (security, architecture, performance, among others).
- Continuously update the technical knowledge required for your domain, sharing what you know and how you apply it.
- Create necessary documentation for developed solutions and register it in Bancolombia's defined information repositories.
- Work collaboratively in a team following the frameworks adopted by the Bank, serving as a technical reference for the team.
What We're Looking For
- Professional degree in systems engineering or related fields.
- Experience with AWS, IBM ACE, and MQ.
- Proficiency with Git, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Middleware Engineer.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resourcefulness.
- Ability for self-management and self-training.
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and self-learning capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Desired knowledge of Api Connect.
- Desired knowledge of JavaScript.
