Sherpa 6 is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for a paid summer position on a full stack development initiative. You will join a scrum team, contribute to our user-focused, design-driven mission, and build solutions with bleeding-edge technology. This role is for an individual passionate about software development and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Research and document technical architecture
- Develop code and submit pull requests
- Test and validate implemented solutions
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
- Review UX/UI designs
- Participate in architecture discussions
What We're Looking For
- Starting your Junior or Senior year of college after the summer break
- Enrolled in a 4-year Computer Science program or equivalent
- Familiar with REST API design and development in any programming language
- Familiar with front-end SPA web development in any framework
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Principles
- Experience with Git for version control
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience in Angular
- Experience in Golang
- Experience using Docker containers
- Experience using Jira and BitBucket
Team & Environment
You will work on a scrum team of peers led by technical leads, participating in all standard agile ceremonies.
