Shape the future of buyer growth in livestream shopping. In this role, you'll lead engineering efforts that directly impact how new users join, explore, and stay engaged with the platform. You'll design and implement full-stack systems that power onboarding, referrals, notifications, and guest experiences—each tailored to convert and retain first-time buyers at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Design and own end-to-end features, from backend infrastructure to frontend interactions, used by millions
- Define architectural direction for systems that must be reliable, scalable, and adaptable during rapid growth
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and data science to identify high-impact opportunities and test new approaches quickly
- Instrument and analyze conversion funnels to uncover insights and drive measurable improvements in user retention
- Guide fellow engineers and help elevate technical standards across teams
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience building user-facing systems in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Proven ability to own ambiguous problem spaces and deliver clear results
- Solid expertise across both frontend and backend development
- A user-first mindset—prioritizing real-world impact over technical elegance
- Comfort navigating complex systems and integrating across layers
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
Nice to Have
- Background in e-commerce, social platforms, or marketplace products
- Experience with mobile or full-stack web frameworks
- Familiarity with A/B testing, growth experimentation, and analytics pipelines

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in one of our major hubs—Seattle, New York City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
