Uniper is looking for a Software Engineering Undergraduate for a year-long placement within our COO IT teams. You will develop and maintain software products critical to the energy sector, focusing on power generation asset optimization and our green transformation. This role provides hands-on experience with modern technologies, including AI, ML, and cloud platforms, in a commercial environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop new digital solutions.
- Work with colleagues across Uniper to create a platform for power generation and energy storage assets.
- Maintain and support live software and digital platforms.
- Participate in UX design opportunities.
- Work in a DevOps environment to complete bug fixes and enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Studying a Computer Science or related degree.
- Understanding of web applications and full stack software engineering.
Nice to Have
- Programming skills in Python, .NET Framework or similar.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Experience with Snowflake, Cosmos & SQL databases.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Microservices.
