Assured is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers building the core products and features that power our platform. You will cultivate a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning to shape the next phase of our growth.
What You'll Do
- Mentor, coach, and support engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development conversations.
- Guide your team in designing, building, and launching scalable, reliable, and secure features that directly support the mission.
- Ensure technical decisions align with goals for quality, performance, scalability, and security.
- Partner with senior leadership to design strategies for team scalability, including hiring, talent development, and resource planning.
- Promote a culture of transparency, adaptability, and shared ownership across product and engineering teams.
- Anticipate challenges as we scale—refining processes, improving velocity, and maintaining focus on delivering user and business value.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience leading teams in a high-growth startup environment while remaining hands-on when needed.
- A passion for building products that excel across usability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Proven ability to set goals, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and deliver measurable results.
- A strong track record of attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional engineering talent.
- The ability to translate customer needs into a cohesive technical roadmap and execution plan.

- Familiarity with Node.js (TypeScript), React (TypeScript), GraphQL, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS.
