Experian is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and people management for an offshore Salesforce development team based in India. In this role, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions that align with global business objectives, drive innovation, and oversee complex integrations across enterprise systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, architects, and QA engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
- Architect scalable Salesforce solutions, including integrations with DocuSign and middleware platforms.
- Oversee development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Ensure adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Act as Scrum Master or Agile Coach for offshore teams.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX.
- Oversee Git-based version control and release management strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration with ERP, billing, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems.
- Define and enforce platform governance, sandbox strategy, and data access policies.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and security compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success managing offshore teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Service Cloud, DocuSign, and Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
