Nex is looking for a Software Engineer (Studio Support) to help shape the future of interactive physical gaming. You will realize our vision of creating the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people by supporting external studios, ensuring smooth game delivery, and building tools to streamline development.
What You'll Do
- Support external studios in implementing games with our technology stack.
- Collaborate with our producer team to ensure smooth delivery of games and content in our pipeline.
- Involve in pre-production of new games, including ideation, prototyping and motion mechanics exploration.
- Identify bottlenecks and pain points for game developers, including designers and engineers.
- Build tools or refine processes to streamline game development, from ideation to deployment.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Unity.
- 3–5 years of software development experience.
- Experience maintaining software libraries and / or writing documentation.
- Experience with tooling and automation.
Nice to Have
- Experience building and shipping products using Unity.
- A love for staying active and healthy, with a passion for helping others do the same.
- An interest in playing games and excitement about game development.
