About the Role

We are looking for a software engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable systems that protect customers from cyber threats. You will work closely with team members to deliver clean code, improve system architecture, and respond to real-world security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable software solutions
  • Collaborate with team members on system architecture and code quality
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Respond to security incidents and system alerts
  • Contribute to automated testing and deployment pipelines
  • Diagnose and fix bugs across the stack
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices
  • Support customer-facing features and backend systems
  • Monitor system health and reliability
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
  • Improve internal tools and development workflows
  • Document technical designs and system changes
  • Work with product teams to refine requirements
  • Ensure compliance with security standards
  • Optimize application performance and uptime
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs
  • Help maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
  • Contribute to post-mortem analyses of incidents
  • Promote a culture of security and reliability
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Mentor junior engineers when needed
  • Balance technical debt with feature development
  • Support deployment and release processes

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cybersecurity or threat detection
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection technologies
  • Knowledge of malware analysis concepts
  • Experience with large-scale data processing
  • Background in building low-level systems
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Exposure to reverse engineering
  • Understanding of Windows internals
  • Experience with Python or Go
