Tower Research Capital is hiring a Software Engineer to design and optimize its high-frequency trading platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the systems that access global market data, execute trades, and manage risk.

What You'll Do

Design and implement a high-frequency trading platform, including collecting quotes and trades from, and disseminating orders to, global exchanges.
Optimize the platform using network and systems programming and other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
Develop systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations.
Create tools to analyze data for patterns.
Build risk-management and performance-tracking tools.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++.
Knowledge of Blockchain, cryptography, cryptocurrency, and Defi protocols.
Knowledge of high throughput systems.
Brilliant problem-solving abilities.
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills in English for business purposes.

Nice to Have

Prior internship experience with C++ development, preferably in a trading environment.
Good understanding of the Linux operating system and Networking (TCP/IP and UDP).
Knowledge of Python and shell scripts.
