1inch is hiring a Blockchain Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure. As part of a company building financial freedom through DeFi, you will navigate the dynamic crypto market while executing quickly and maintaining the highest standards of security and quality.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize blockchain product architecture, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead the development, auditing, and integration of smart contracts within decentralized protocols.
- Conduct technical research and proof-of-concept experiments, implementing best practices in blockchain development.
- Develop and improve cross-chain interoperability solutions, such as cross-chain swaps and bridges.
- Design and develop efficient algorithms with a focus on gas optimization.
- Define and implement effective CI/CD processes for blockchain development.
- Analyze and address potential attack vectors and ensure security best practices.
- Continuously monitor emerging blockchain, Web3, and crypto technologies.
- Perform rigorous code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- At least 2+ years in blockchain engineering.
- Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, smart contracts (Solidity, Yul, EVM), and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK Rollups), and cross-chain protocols.
- Proven track record in technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and mentoring development teams.
- Strong background in blockchain security and experience with smart contract audits.

- Smart contract development and deployment frameworks (Foundry, Hardhat)
