Jobgether is looking for a Software Engineer (L2) to join our dynamic team developing scalable web applications and backend systems for high-impact digital experiences. You will work with modern technologies to design, build, and deliver innovative solutions serving thousands of users in a remote-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features using React, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and related technologies.
- Maintain and improve high-performing backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident response and post-mortems.
- Write unit and integration tests, maintaining CI/CD pipelines and high-quality documentation.
- Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to enhance system performance and user experience.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining modern web applications.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD systems.
- Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within remote agile teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership of deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or building testing frameworks.
