Life360 is looking for a Full Stack Intern to join a 16-week Co-Op program, reporting to Full Stack Team Leads. You'll support impactful projects to enhance our e-commerce platform and internal operations while honing your skills across front- and back-end development.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
- Create user-friendly and responsive front-end functionalities for the e-commerce platform.
- Support robust back-end APIs and services.
- Develop and enhance internal tools and applications to improve company operations.
- Ensure system reliability, optimize application performance, and implement best practices for scalability.
- Design and implement reusable, maintainable UI components and templates.
- Work closely with Designers to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to UX design standards.
- Support the improvement of existing codebases and implementing modern practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the final year of studies or a recent graduate.
- Focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience in Java and back-end frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Understanding of database design, RDBMS concepts, and SQL.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Eagerness to provide support across the SDLC, including planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Nice to Have
- Prior hands-on experience in full stack development and delivering high-quality software.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems, like Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
